Hello there, we’re Charmaine and WJ.

Our goal?

To travel the world without burning a hole in our pocket!

Taipei Zoo Poop Wall

I used to be a major spendthrift in my younger days, throwing money around on useless things. Every dollar I received or earned, I spent.

It even got to the point where I was left with less than a dollar in my bank account after a typical day of shopping!

Only after travelling more frequently (and growing older and wiser) then it dawned on me. I didn’t want to spend my hard-earned money on things that made me happy just for that one day. What felt and still feels more important are the experiences and memories I get from being in different places and cultures.

So I started tracking my expenses, became a reformed shopaholic and now save enough for at least 4 trips a year!
